Since 1993, The Australian Essential Oil Company has been a leader in the production and bulk-export of 100% pure essential oils. These fine therapeutic-grade essential oils carry the powerful, fragrant characteristics of our unique native plants - the Essence of Australia® - throughout the world.
AEOC has earned a sterling reputation for working with clients to develop formulations, as well as manufactured and private label products for companies both domestically and internationally. Our laboratory is well-equipped to offer expert forensic analysis of essential oils and product purity, and regularly consults in this capacity for companies around the world.
AEOC has long been one of Australia's major exporters of tea tree oil, and is the world's only source for true Australian Blue Cypress oil. Our unique collection of essential oils is derived from a wide range of plants native to Australia. All are grown in sound, sustainable environmental conditions, either from plantations as a renewable resource, or from natural stands grown under ecological management on private lands. Nurtured by our network of expert native plant farmers, many are Eco-Harvest® certified or certified Organic.
Each of our oils is produced using exacting distillation methods, refined through AEOC’s continual efforts to advance the science of essential oil production. Meticulous attention to all phases of production, processing and packaging results in a dependably consistent top quality product. Technical service includes our in-house analysis by gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy as well as the full range of physical analyses.
Our active research and development program continues to bring treasures from the Australian pharmacopoeia to aromatherapy, natural health products, traditional therapies, cosmeceuticals, perfumery and top-range cosmetics, as well as nature-based janitorial, technical, pest control (i.e. insects and head lice), and agricultural products. Currently under investigation are essential oils from many native plants, shrubs and trees. These include Araucaria, Backhousia, Baekia, Callitris, Eremophila, Eucalypts, Geijera, Leptospermums, Melaleucas, Prostanthera and Zieria.
The Australian Essential Oil Company is certified by Australian Certified Organic (ACO) as a processor of organic essential oils (certification number P237). We operate under a quality assurance system that is compliant with ISO standards, that guarantees the source of the produce, and enables audit trailing procedures in both the U.S.A. and in the E.U.
